SARCINA ALBERTO Y QUINTERO CAROLINA
Archaeological research carried out by the author in recent years (2013-2017) has integrated systematic surveys of stratigraphic excavations in area and specialized analysis of materials that have made possible a delimitation of pre-Hispanic spaces and foundations of the sixteenth century. It highlights the use of heritage technologies, paleohydrography analyses and satellite images that allowed to complete the spatial analysis and identification of the ancient village, as well as its relationship with respect to the waterways of the time. The book features exceptional illustrations that evoke a remote time and describe, from archaeological finds and historical sources, urban tracing. The material is part of the interpretive model and is integrated into the body of scientific documents as a reference through the image, whose usefulness is definitive for the reconstruction of the past.
